There's been talks of a new game released recently. Isn't this the perfect opportunity to stream it for more viewers? A rare opportunity to join the bandwagon, maybe you'll blow up this time!
Though, something feels a little unsettling...
Donkathon is roguelite survival game with an end in sight. Players will go through a fixed amount of levels and bosses in order to reach the end of the game. Maybe, you'll also learn some lessons along the way...
Controls
This section provides some basic controls (there is a tutorial in-game):
Movement: WASD / Sprint: Hold Shift
Aiming: Mouse / Left-mouse button: Shoot
Interact: E (Default Key)
(on an item): Quickswap between nearest available Active/Passive slot
(on an item): Quick transfer between crafting inventory and player inventory
NOTE: This assumes you are using a QWERTY-based keyboard layout. If not, the keys should be in the same physical position as one.
Tips

to move items around much faster.
- Viewers
can provide very useful information on game mechanics. Read their messages for various tips.

When rerolling items, the coloured bar represents the expected tier reward (hovering an item shows its tier and colour). If your "Path" is set to an item of that tier, it is guaranteed as one of the results.

Clarifications / FAQs
- What can be expected from future updates?
Definitely more enemies, stages and items. Probably some other unlocks that may or may not affect gameplay but nothing is really set in stone yet so we'll see. Also much more terrible NPC dialogue.
- Will this game have a steam version and will it be free?
Whatever is posted on itch.io (aka the demo) is free. if the game develops to completion, the full version will most likely cost something, but I doubt it'd be very expensive. It's too early to think about a steam release.
- Why is (insert content here) so buggy?
I work on pretty much everything myself, including programming, art, sfx, testing, etc without any external help. That's why I decided to release this at this stage, to gauge people's interest in the game concept and get f̶r̶e̶e̶ ̶l̶a̶b̶o̶u̶r̶
players to help debug, test and balance the game.
- Will this game have controller support?
Maybe one day (I don't have a controller to test).

As the current goal is to gather opinions and squash as many bugs as possible, you are encouraged to test out builds and strategies to reach the end (of this demo). This game is currently undergoing development, and maybe have updates from time to time.
